Umi, I can now add fearlessness to your writing skills. Death is never an easy area to let one’s mind dwell. I think your conclusion of gratitude is a logical and emotionally answer. Sometimes i think that for all the world, and all that is in it, something is absent. Like humans are born with a depth to which nothing could fill it. Therefore, what does fill it? How can we ever feel as if, what we accomplished today will be the rest of my life? What is this elusive thirst we all chase? You clearly made the point that death must play a part of the solution. Maybe death itself is a gift? You have my mind racing and bouncing with this writing. Well done, and I hope that you find the balance and everything else you seek.

Hi Justin, this was not written by Umi, just reposted, but thank you for the kind words :) That thirst I think is something many people, in particular many writers are familiar with. If you find a way to quench it, I hope you will share it with us
